Mutual of Omaha has added a 457(b)
retirement platform to its lineup of retirement solutions. Underwritten by Mutual
of Omaha affiliates United of Omaha Life
Insurance Company and Companion Life
Insurance Company, the new 457(b) retirement solution includes, among other things,
a lineup of investment options that includes
risk- and time-based asset-allocation
portfolios, individually managed account
options, and a self-directed brokerage
account with access to “unlimited” fund
choices.
Transamerica Retirement Services has
introduced a new mutual fund platform
for retirement plans that includes target-maturity funds from three fund families and
has no proprietary fund requirements. The
new mutual fund platform gives financial
advisers and plan sponsors the flexibility to
work with a third-party administrator (TPA)
or receive bundled, full-service capabilities
from Transamerica, according to a press
release.
DATAIR has announced the latest release
of its DB System, described as the “
next-generation Defined Benefit software for
proposals, compliance testing, valuation
and administration.” DATAIR’s DB System
includes PPA funding rules with yield
curves, Funding Target and Target Normal
Cost, segment rates, automatic rate and
yield curve look-ups, at-risk calculations,
cushion amount increase, F TAP and AF TAP
certifications and notices, as well as other
features, according to the announcement.
