Research Methodology
From February 2018 to March 2018, approximately 3,500 corporate sponsors of nonqualified plans were asked to partic ipate in this
study. By the close of the survey, a total of 262 usable responses were received. The questionnaire, developed jointly by Prudential and
PLANSPONSOR, consisted of approximately 45 questions involving NQDCP demographics, plan design, purpose of NQDCP, funding methods,
recordkeeping, and other executive benefits offered. The preceding charts represent a portion of the results, with further analysis by
