LARGE MARKET plans occupy the space between Midsize and
Mega Market plans. Satisfaction ratings in this market typically
fall between those two markets as well. This year, in
seven of the 12 service areas-including all covered under
Recordkeeping Platform, Sponsor Services and Support, and
Investments and Fees-this occurred. But there is some variation
that surfaced in the value assigned to participant services,
where Large Market respondents were comparably more satisfied
(+5%) with " online/mobile retirement planning tools. "
This asset size also had the survey's highest rating (68.2%) for

MEGA MARKET plans present unique challenges for plan sponsors
and recordkeepers alike. The massive, distributed workforce
supported by such plans results in millions of transactions and
a dependence on technology to deliver scalable service strategies.
The good news is that recordkeepers continue to improve
their offerings in this space, as average net satisfaction ratings
increased to 63.5%-marking a significant improvement from
the 40.4% recorded in 2018. However, Mega Market plans remain
more dissatisfied with Recordkeeping Platform service areas in
general and the recordkeeper's sponsor and participant digital
