SMALL MARKET - B: PLAN ASSETS >$25mm - $50mm
SMALL MARKET - B plan sponsors were among the most content
grouping of survey respondents in the 2021 DC Survey. The
market's 77.8% net satisfaction rate was the highest we found,
and more than 65% of respondents nominated a member of
their service team for a 2022 PLANSPONSOR Service Star
Award. The growing complexity of these Small Market plans
results in comparably higher levels of satisfaction with recordkeeper
offerings related to " systems integration " and " online/
mobile retirement planning tools. " Still, respondents also are
more likely to value personalized participant services such as
" in-person/virtual participant support. " -BOK

MIDSIZE MARKET: PLAN ASSETS >$50mm - $200mm
IN PRIOR YEARS, satisfaction with recordkeeper services was
lower among midsize plans, but respondents to this year's survey
reported record levels of satisfaction that were consistent with
both their smaller (excluding Micro Market) and larger peers.
The average net recommendation rate increased for the third
consecutive year and jumped to a record 75.4%. Sponsors were
the most satisfied with offerings related to " plan design flexibility, "
" investment options " and " fee value and transparency " -
factors commonly valued by larger plans. All eight recordkeepers
qualifying for Best in Class consideration received at least five
BIC Awards or Service Commendations. -BOK
